Wiki Loves Earth is a competition, aimed to photograph natural monuments and protected areas to contribute to the environmental protection all around the world. Participants upload photos of natural reserves to Wikimedia Commons and then choose the winners of the contest.

In 2015 Ukrainian Carpathian Biosphere Reservation took the 6th place out of 15 Rating positions It is to be mentioned, that the idea was born and realized for the first time in Ukraine in 2013. During the next two years the Wiki Loves Earth project has become international and was joined by countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and America. Nearly 70,000 pictures were submitted by more than 3,000 participants.
